Validated on Australia’s Biggest Projects

St Marys Metro Station, Sydney

Sensors deployed: 140 units
Project value: AU$2B+
Outcome: Avoided potential formwork overpressure incident
(>$250k in rework/safety risk)
Benefit: Delivered smoother handover, documented QA for compliance

For the St Marys Metro Station construction, a total of approximately 14,500 cubic meters of concrete was planned to be poured as part of the station’s base slab, built over 19 concrete pours. Each individual pour requires an average of 470 cubic meters of concrete, 200 tonnes of steel reinforcement, and 52 square metres of formwork.

Sydney Football Stadium (Concourse Walls)

Sensors deployed: 80 units
Project value: AU$828M
Outcome: Detected early curing issue, allowing adjustment
before cracks formed
Savings: Estimated $150k+ in avoided rework
Benefit: Confidence for Tier 1 contractor, fewer disputes with
subcontractors

The construction of the Sydney Football Stadium involved the pouring of 40,000 cubic meters of concrete, which is equivalent to the volume of 16 Olympic-sized swimming pools

Our Construction Safety Rental Solutions

Concrete Pressure Sensor

Monitor the pouring of cement in real-time, and get feedback on placement, vibration and workmanship quality.

Structural Motion Sensors

Monitor structural changes and receive alerts when a threshold has been reached on engineering structures.

Scaffolding Load Sensors

Monitor scaffolding platform load to avoid scaffolding collapse as a result of exceeding capacity.

Scaffolding Wall Ties

Prevents unauthorised scaffold tampering with continuous scaffold monitoring and real-time alerts.

Testimonials

“At Sydney Football Stadium, IQM sensors caught curing issues early —avoiding cracks, saving $150k+, and keeping the project on schedule."

“On every project so far, IQM sensors have paid for themselves multiple times over — while improving safety and compliance”

Key Benefits

Real-time accuracy

Get reliable concrete strength data without delays.

End-to-end service

We install and remove devices on-site.

Save time and money

Reduce labour costs and rework.

Trusted in Australia

Built and supported locally.

Avoid Hidden Risks in Every Concrete Pour

Avoid 5-15% of Total Project Cost in Rework

Rework typically adds 5%–12% to project costs, while poor-
quality work can contribute up to 30% of project cost growth

Deliver Your Projects on Time & Within Budget

Formwork, especially labor, can account for up to 50% of completed reinforced concrete costs. Failures like formwork blowouts can lead to severe safety hazards, rework, and project delays.

Remove the Common Hidden Risks

Without real-time monitoring, teams rely on assumptions often based on “rules of thumb” leading to safety risks, delays, and costly rework.

Your End-to-end Construction Safety Service

Professional Installation

Quick installation of our IoT devices ruggedised for site conditions by our construction professionals.

Setup and Data Transmission

We setup a secure and reliable wireless connection to the installed devices via the LoRaWAN /Gateway / 4G/Cloud.

Dashboard & Alerts

Get real-time project insights and alerts to ensure ensure the quality and safety of your projects.

Reporting & Compliance

Retrieve QA records stored for compliance, insurance, disputes ready to export to Excel/CSV.
