Q: What does IQM Systems do?
A: We provide IoT-enabled safety and monitoring solutions for the construction and infrastructure industries. Our products deliver real-time data on structural loads, tampering, and environmental conditions to reduce risk, improve compliance, and support data-driven decision-making for safer, more efficient operations.
Q: What industries do you service?
A: While our primary focus is on construction, infrastructure, scaffolding, and formwork, our solutions are well-suited for any high-risk environment where real-time monitoring and data integrity are critical
🛠️ Installation & Site Use
Q: How long does setup take on site?
A: Around 1–2 hours, including sensor installation, connection checks, and dashboard setup. Remote and on-site support is available.
Q: Do I need to provide a SIM card?
A: No. Our gateways come with a pre-installed SIM card. We manage network setup but can support use of your own SIM or enterprise network.

Q: What is the maintenance schedule?
A: Our systems are low maintenance. We recommend monthly inspections to check mounting, battery levels, and data transmission status.
Q: What is included in the warranty?
A: All hardware includes a 12-month warranty. Extended service agreements are available.
Note: Warranty excludes damage due to incorrect use or on-site handling.

Q: What are the technical specs of the pressure sensors?
A: Our wireless pressure sensors measure concrete pressure in real time, with a capacity up to 500kPa. As a smart IoT device, it supports remote configuration for power saving, self-calibration, and alert threshold settings. It also measures temperature. All data is transmitted via a secure gateway to our cloud-based IQM Dashboard.
Q: What is the battery life of the sensors?

Safe-T sensors: ~6 to 8 months under standard use (e.g., hourly data logs).

Pressure sensors: Use an external rechargeable battery pack. One pack typically sustains 6–8 pours depending on pour duration and frequency.
Q: How many pours can a sensor be used for?
A: We recommend recalibrating or replacing sensors after 10 to 12 pours, depending on curing time and site conditions, to maintain accuracy.
Q: Can sensors be reused between pours?
A: Yes, sensors are fully reusable and can be repositioned quickly. For accurate performance, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and stable.
Q: How is data stored and accessed?
A: Data is stored securely in the cloud and accessible via the IQM Dashboard. The dashboard includes real-time visuals, historical logs, threshold alerts, and export tools.
Q: How many sensors can connect to one gateway?
A: Up to 50 sensors per gateway, depending on signal strength and obstructions. We recommend placing gateways centrally and at height for optimal coverage.
Q: Is the system compatible with BIM or construction software?
A: Yes, we support CSV data exports and API integration with leading construction and BIM platforms. Custom integration is available.
